Years's Event
the bbr (busses on the blue ridge) was fabulous. a good time was had by all, as far as
i could tell. i left a hair clip by the water spigot on the tent side, up the hill
from the bathhouse. it was brown plastic with 2 silver pieces on it. i know this sounds
trivial, but the clip belonged to a friend of mine who died of cancer less than a year ago
and that was one of the only things i still have.
it's a brown plastic hair clip, the kind with big teeth, there are 2 silver
pieces that you clamp together to open the clip. last seen by the water
spigot on the tent side, up the hill from the bathhouse, could have been
dropped along the trail.
Please help if you saw it.

1998 Info:
By now, most of you have been wondering "Where on earth is the
BUSSES ON THE BLUE RIDGE information?", Well, here it is. the basics anyway. The
LOCATION will be the same as last year, the Mount Pisgah campground. Located high atop
Mount Pisgah along the Blue Ridge Parkway, between mile markers 408 and 409. This is to
make it easy for those of you who attended last years event. It is also because, I cannot
find a nicer campground I am sure you all agree (except that there are no showers). This
year we will need to camp in Loop "B" & "C" due to overwhelming
bus enthusiasm in the North Carolina mountains. The park requests that camper vans park in
Loop "B" and people sleeping in tents in Loop "C".-
The DATE will be from May 29 to May 31, 1998. This is so we can all go to Manassis and get
all the "good stuff" the week before.
