The mission of the Spartanburg ARES organization is to serve the emergency agencies of Spartanburg County and the State of South Carolina by providing efficient and reliable essential communications services during general failures (or anticipated failures) of the normal communications infrastructure and to provide a working communications infrastructure where one does not exist in event of emergencies. This mission is to be accomplished through the development of a plan, procedures and training for emergency communications.
